Book Launch Website

For the launch of their new book, UnAssisted Living: Ageless Homes For Later Life (©2011, The Monacelli Press), authors Jeffrey Rosenfeld and Wid Chapman tasked 21Boom with creating a website that would invite potential buyers to preview featured images and read a more in-depth summary than was possible on the publisher’s site or at online book sellers like Amazon.

The Living UnAssisted site was designed to be flexible, allowing it to be re-purposed for multiple future projects (book and/or video), as well as to incorporate news about speaking engagements, feature posted articles and information – and, ultimately, to become an all purpose marketing tool and online presence.

The design of livingunassisted.com was kept minimal, reflecting the authors’ preferred modern and clean architectural and design aesthetic.  It appeals to older eyes with large type, simple navigation and uncluttered pages.  The site works in all mobile formats and is especially effective on tablets like the ipad.
