MTV – It’s On With Alexa Chung

21Boom designed, shot and produced this footage-driven show open as part of a complete show graphics package for MTV’s It’s On With Alexa Chung, a talk and variety show that aired live daily from NYC.

The footage featuring Ms. Chung was shot at multiple locations throughout New York City and tells the very short story of a typical morning of errands, meetings with friends, shopping and neighborhood exploration on a sunny summer day.

Since Ms. Chung was new to stateside viewers, the concept was to introduce the host in a way that was immediately familiar, down-to-earth and likeable.  All design (including the show logo), videography, animation, editorial and compositing were completed by 21Boom.

Footage shot from a moving vehicle on the Williamsburg Bridge was incorporated at the end of the open as a dynamic background for updatable billboards.
